KAIST Invention Review and Patent Funding Program

KAIST operates a structured Invention Review program to secure intellectual property rights for research outcomes and to promote Technology Transfer.
Submitted inventions are comprehensively reviewed based on technical merit, novelty, and commercial potential, and the results are used to determine filing strategies for domestic and foreign patent applications.

  • Domestic Funding Review
    Conducted once per month
  • Foreign Funding Review
    Conducted once per quarter
